I really thought I'd get around to posting last month, but Kaylana got sick twice and my sister came up to visit from San Diego so I guess I was wrong. But here's what happened last month.
Kaylana crawls super fast now. When I get home from work (at 1-2am) she speedily crawls to me in less than 2 seconds...resulting in her daddy having to grab her cuz mommy hasn't cleaned up yet. Funny girl. She started really crawling at 7 months, and 2 weeks later started pulling herself up onto everything. She has had quite a few falls since then...poor baby. But she's way tougher than I expect, and usually cries from the shock of being on the floor all of a sudden. Now, after a month of falling, she doesn't cry anymore, but simply has discovered she can get on her knees and proceed into crawling position. Diaper changes have become much more difficult as she is too curious for her own good and hates to be on her back which leads to squirming and turning and all that good stuff that I'm sure all you parents know about.
She also started saying "ma-ma" and "mum" last month. I suspect she kinda knows what it means as she crawls to me when she's hungry going "mamamama."
Kaylana still loves to jump in her jumper, and sometimes gets worn out. She also loves water bottles, paper, and plastic! So we really reuse and recycle! Haha.
She also enjoys her play yard now since sometimes Mommy has to cook and can't have Kaylana crawling in circles around her!
Kayana experienced her first easter egg hunt on Easter Sunday. She had lots of fun with her cousin, Ashilene! They were crawling all over the place...but mommies and daddies had to help with the eggs higher up of course.

She loves being outdoors, so we try to go to the park at least once a week, especially now that the weather has warmed up!
